Artist statement
Gabriella Goldsmith is a Danish jewellery designer who graduated from the Ba Jewellery Design course at Central Saint Martins in 2018 and obtained a master’s in “Challenging Jewellery” at the Sandberg Instituut in Amsterdam in 2020. She has since setup her own jewellery brand and studio in Copenhagen working and making pieces remotely for The Pool and exhibitions. Gabriella primarily works with bead and weave techniques to achieve fabric-like material. She works with themes such as the illusion of texture, surrealism and witty humor occasionally combining them all into her either bigger statement pieces to more wearable subtle sculptural pieces.
